Summary

Job Description: A Senior Presales Consultant is needed to drive sales efforts for R3 in the MENA region. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of R3’s products, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in a presales or technical consulting role. They should also possess a deep understanding of capital markets and the MENA market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a presales, solutions architect, or technical consulting role
  • Technical and domain knowledge within capital markets, blockchain or DLT
  • Strong understanding of the MENA market and experience working with clients in the region
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in English and preferably Arabic

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and expertise on R3’s products and solutions
  • Conduct detailed technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Understand and articulate the business challenges and opportunities in capital markets that can be addressed by R3’s technology
  • Develop and present tailored business cases and ROI analyses to potential clients, aligning R3’s solutions with their strategic objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects, building strong relationships and understanding their unique needs and requirements
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other client inquiries, providing comprehensive and compelling responses
  • Promote R3’s CBDC and digital assets solutions to executive-level stakeholders in the MENA region
  • Develop and deliver strategic presentations and proposals that demonstrate the benefits and potential of R3’s offerings in the digital assets space
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities, supporting them throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between client needs and R3’s product roadmap
  • Contribute to and engage in go-to-market campaigns promoting R3’s solutions and value propositions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key competitive vendors in the DLT/blockchain and capital markets domain
  • Leverage competitive insights to better position R3’s solutions and address client concerns
  • Leverage established relationships with key personas at Leading Financial Institutions (LFIs) and Central Banks in the GCC region to drive business development and sales efforts
  • Expand and nurture a network of high-level contacts within the financial sector to support R3’s growth in the MENA region
  • Be willing to travel up to 50% of the time within the MENA region to meet clients, attend industry events, and support sales activities
