Summary
Join Turtle Rock Studios' award-winning game development team and contribute to the creation of our next AAA title. As a Senior Producer, you will collaborate closely with Audio and Narrative teams, facilitating communication, supporting development, and proactively resolving roadblocks. This role demands a strong understanding of game development schedules, pipelines, and dependencies, along with experience managing Audio or Narrative teams. The position offers flexible work arrangements, including in-studio, hybrid, and fully remote options throughout North America. The estimated base pay range is $115,000 - $155,000 USD. Requirements
- 5+ years experience in the games industry
- Experience with scheduling tools (eg. Jira) and coordinating a project schedule
- Experience with managing Audio or Narrative teams
- Possess a general understanding of schedules, pipelines, and dependencies involved with developing games
- Experience in risk analysis and mitigation
- Experience with multiple project management methodologies
- Excellent project management, critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all individuals; stay calm and focused under pressure
- Capable of prioritization; able to manage several important items at once, and escalate challenges when needed, without allowing anything to be lost in the process
Responsibilities
- Work with the Audio and Narrative departments on a daily basis
- Curate and maintain game documentation
- Take initiative to identify problems, establish facts, and propose solutions
- Gather estimates and work with developers to evaluate feature complexity and risk
- Maintain close communication with department leads
- Balance day to day maintenance with long-term planning; need to recognize that production is not all about fighting fires
- Establish and communicate production estimates, including estimates for when targets will be hit
- Get to know your team: pace, velocity, progress, ownership. Know what a critical change can do to the schedule and work with the team to determine what is best for the game
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent people skills including the ability to motivate people and inspire their creative talents
- Strong passion for playing games
- Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as assigned by senior management
- Quick learner, able to pick up new tools and technologies
- Familiarity with dialogue and cinematics pipelines
- A passion for audio, narrative, or both!
