Summary
Join Oppizi, a bootstrapped, profitable offline performance marketing platform, as a Product Analyst. You will drive growth, activation, and retention through data-driven insights. Responsibilities include daily tracking and insights, maintaining growth models, supporting PMs and designers, managing PostHog, participating in product ceremonies, analyzing data, and partnering with the marketing team. This role requires 5+ years of experience in product analytics, expertise in analyzing growth metrics, hands-on experience with PLG, advanced SQL and spreadsheet skills, A/B testing experience, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product analytics, ideally in startups or scale-ups
- Proven expertise in analyzing growth, retention, activation, and monetization using tools like Amplitude, PostHog, or Pendo
- Hands-on experience with Product-Led Growth (PLG) and a strong understanding of PLG metrics (this will be tested)
- Advanced SQL and spreadsheet skills, with experience structuring data for analysis
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and experiments
- Understanding of event tracking, including event definitions and organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can turn data into actionable insights that influence decisions
Responsibilities
- Own daily tracking and insights, monitoring onboarding, adoption, and retention to ensure we act on real-time data
- Advance and maintain growth models, updating key spreadsheets to analyze trends, retention, and unit economics
- Support PMs and Designers by measuring the impact of new features, running A/B tests, and validating hypotheses
- Manage and advocate for PostHog (our product analytics tool), ensuring teams get maximum value from our data
- Participate in squads and product ceremonies, ensuring the product team is truly data-informed
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, combining user recordings, surveys, and behavior analytics to uncover insights
- Partner with the marketing team to integrate customer acquisition data, tracking how it impacts product growth, ROI, and unit economics
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (a plus)
- Certifications in growth/product analytics (e.g., Reforge, ProductLed, or similar)
- Familiarity with AI-powered data analysis tools
- Python skills for advanced analytics
