Summary

Join Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) as a Product Implementation Specialist! This role requires a thorough understanding of life and annuity products and involves developing business requirements, test plans, and system documentation. You will collaborate with internal business partners, execute testing, and serve as a product knowledge expert for TPA development and system integrations. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry are preferred, along with strong technical and analytical skills. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent education and applicable work experience required
  • Life insurance and/or annuity product knowledge is required with preference for Indexed UL and Fixed Indexed Annuity experience
  • Strong technical, analytical, organizational, computer, and team skills
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced production environment while addressing multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Familiarity with Insurance administration systems, compensation systems and producer web sites
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficient with database structures and tables, spreadsheet applications and working knowledge of Visual Basic or related applications
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, analytical and be able handle multiple projects
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and to influence key project decisions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and is able to operate efficiently in unpredictable and challenging project environments
  • Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the organization in both technical and business areas successfully
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop business requirements used to support product/riders as well as determine and document technical impacts in partnership with internal business partners
  • Develop test plans and scripts in collaboration with Retail Actuarial Technicians
  • Review and update system related documentation that may include vendor technical documentation, mapping documents and flow charts
  • Execute targeted testing and sign-off on test results in partnership with internal business partners
  • Such testing includes values testing, policy print testing and data integration
  • Product knowledge subject matter expert for TPA development as well as downstream system integrations
  • Evaluate and analyze existing or proposed business systems and process with continuous improvement mindset
  • Rate database support
  • Sox control support
  • Administrative System: Work with the Administrative System personnel to ensure that new products or any enhancements are correctly implemented on the system
  • Advise on plan setup, advise on test plans, validation of test results and error resolution
  • Illustration Software & Sales Tools: Work with Illustration & Sales tool team to ensure consistency with setup of Administrative System

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of technical/professional experience preferred in financial services industry
