Senior Product Designer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Product Designer at Cision, a global PR, marketing, and social media management technology company. The role involves working remotely or from one of their offices, leading design within a cross-functional team, and having direct contact with customers to understand their requirements.

Requirements

• Have 5-8 years of aggregated commercial experience working as a Product Designer on digital products (web apps/SaaS preferred over mobile/native)
• Have a portfolio of well-crafted, impactful work that solves real problems for real people which can be presented during your interview
• Be able to lead the design within your specific product area and deliver consistently brilliant and delightful product experiences within a cross-functional team
• Have a holistic approach to design, considering not just your own product area but overlaps with others – to ensure design consistency
• Be able to distill and translate complex requirements into modern, accessible, and inviting experiences
• Have experience in collaborating on user research tasks, as part of the design process
• Be a great storyteller with excellent communication skills. Able to confidently communicate your work to a variety of stakeholders and colleagues from juniors through to execs

Responsibilities

• Working directly within a cross-functional team of Product Managers and Developers to deliver consistently brilliant and delightful product experiences
• Having direct contact with customers to understand their requirements, evaluate customer research, and translate those findings into exciting opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience in planning and conducting user research (generative and evaluative) and translating those findings into design opportunities
• Know how to work with established design systems / pattern libraries
• Have a passion for data visualisation and dashboard design
