Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with mobile UI/UX design and some experience in other areas of graphic design
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design tools and software (Figma, Jira and Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong understanding of native mobile design principles, user experience best practices, and responsive design
  • Interaction design and animation experience
  • Strong sense for current design trends and emerging social platforms
  • Ability to take an abstract idea and build out to completion
  • Eagle-eye attention-to-detail when it comes to crafting designs
  • Strong communication skills and receptive to constructive external feedback on design

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Design to design visually stunning and functional user interfaces for the mobile app
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from the Head of Design and Head of Product, user feedback, testing results, and stakeholder input to continuously enhance the app’s usability and appeal
  • Be our go-to designer and champion for interaction design on the platform
  • Direct developers to implement your designs to spec including QA and feedback
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the app and future design projects
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and test design concepts and user flows
  • Brainstorm and drive new creative development and ways to attract new users
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute product marketing such as email marketing, user education and other communications
  • Help drive UX research, discovery and user education initiatives
  • Problem-solve design issues effectively and in a timely manner
