Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join DoiT's PerfectScale team as a Senior Digital Product Designer and significantly impact digital product experiences, ensuring they are intuitive and user-friendly. You will apply modern Product Design methodologies, creating design artifacts and collaborating with product management and engineering teams. This remote role, based in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Estonia, Israel, or Spain (or as a contractor in East Europe and Portugal), involves working through every stage of product development, from conceptualization to implementation. You will enhance key metrics through improved user experience and customer engagement. DoiT is a global technology company specializing in Kubernetes, GenAI, and CloudOps, working with over 4,000 customers worldwide. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in designing consumer-facing digital products and proven expertise in various areas of digital product design.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience designing for consumer-facing digital product experiences
• A deep passion to think differently and challenge conventional approaches to design
• Proven expertise in multiple areas of Digital Product Design including but not limited to Interaction Design, Service Design, Information Architecture, Visual Design, Production Design, Research, and Digital Prototyping
• Mastery of Figma, and various prototyping tools
• Ability to build and organize high-quality and consistent design artifacts including flow diagrams, journey maps, wireframes, lo and hi-fi mockups, simple prototypes, design specifications, and related documentation
• Proven experience leading Design System initiatives and deep expertise in Design Systems best practices
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills
• Experience working on a high-performing team, collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, leadership, and other key partners
• An online portfolio of professional work is required

Responsibilities

• Working with cross-functional team members in the execution and delivery of PerfectScale products, using a customer-focused, iterative design process
• Collaborating closely with engineering, product management, PMM and research to develop impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutions
• Working alongside engineers throughout the implementation and quality assurance phases
• Product Design: Creating user-centered designs based on research and insights, including but not limited to user flows, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications
• Design Iteration: Participating in various methods of critiquing and evaluating design including usability testing and iterating on designs based on feedback
• User Advocacy: Acting as a user advocate to ensure the end product offers a high-quality user experience
• Participating in the development and maintenance of the design system utilizing the latest industry techniques and best practices
