Requirements
- Experience evaluating and designing complex workflows impacting multiple products
- Track record of innovating UI choices beyond standard web elements
- Strong understanding of visual design principles (spacing, typography, hierarchy, color)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proven success working with an established design system
- Experience working closely with User Research and incorporating customer feedback
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering teams
- A proactive approach to design feedback, both giving and receiving
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and design complex workflows, especially those spanning multiple products
- Innovate in UI choices, going beyond standard web elements to create unique experiences
- Apply strong understanding of visual design principles (spacing, typography, hierarchy, color usage)
- Communicate customer challenges effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Work with an established design system, knowing when to reuse, evolve, or ignore components
- Collaborate closely with User Research, incorporate customer feedback into your work
- Think strategically about your product area and collaborate with PMs and Engineering
- Work closely with the engineering team throughout the design and development process, ensuring high-quality implementation
- Actively participate in design feedback, both giving and receiving
Preferred Qualifications
- Contribution to a horizontal and/or Design System team
- Experience in B2B SaaS
- Background or formal education in Graphic Design
- Ability to write front-end HTML and CSS, or sufficient understanding for productive conversations
