Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join M-Files, a leading platform for knowledge work automation, as a Product Designer based in Tampere/Helsinki. You will create world-class solutions, translating strategic themes and user insights into impactful designs. Collaborate with a product trio (Product Manager, Designer, Architect) to guide development efforts and conceptualize solutions. Your designs will enhance user experience, driving customer satisfaction and business growth. You will actively engage with stakeholders, present design solutions, and contribute to the Design System. Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced use of auto-layout
• You should have at least five years of experience in software design
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills, problem-solving approach, and impact on user experience is essential

Responsibilities

• Designing exceptional user experiences through visual probes, concept studies, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma
• You’re also comfortable facilitating design sprints and workshops
• Contributing to and evolving our Design System and reusable patterns, ensuring consistency and scalability across products
• Exploring broader topics and value creation domains (e.g., "finding information," "collaboration," and "GenAI") to inform future designs
• Working closely with Analysts, Researchers, Product Managers, Software Architects, and Developers to plan and conduct discovery and delivery work
• Helping shape the product vision and strategy by aligning design efforts with broader organizational goals and participating in strategic planning
• Presenting your design solutions and the rationale behind them to key stakeholders, and actively engaging with our Design Community through co-design sessions, design reviews, and more

Preferred Qualifications

Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or complex B2B domain is considered a plus
