Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join Uniswap Labs, a company reshaping internet value flow, as a Senior Product Designer. You will design next-generation financial products, solve cutting-edge human-computer interface problems, and develop new mental models for decentralized finance users. This role offers the option of being partially or fully remote and is based in New York City. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and researchers, contributing to a unified design system and mentoring junior designers. Requirements

• 5 years of product design experience, including research, prototyping, and implementation of user-facing applications. With some experience in FinTech or adjacent industries through relevant design work
• Demonstrated experience working with component libraries or design systems
• A strong desire to design within the context of web3/blockchain/decentralized finance
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Framer, or equivalent
• Excellent visual design and interaction design skills, with a strong portfolio that reflects independent project ownership and high-quality execution
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end design projects for new and improved consumer products that increase clarity and user agency in decentralized finance and web3
• Tackle complex challenges in emerging technology by inventing new mental models and designing cutting-edge interactions with minimal oversight
• Use a human-centered approach that incorporates qualitative and quantitative data to create conceptual wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Effectively collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and research partners to influence product strategy and roadmap
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a unified design system that increases the velocity and consistency of the frontend engineering team
• Mentor junior designers and help define best practices through feedback, documentation, and team crit
• Contribute to the broader design culture through writing, presentations, and external community engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the web3/Ethereum ecosystem (wallets, tokens, transactions etc.)
• High fidelity prototyping experience
• Regular use of AI in design and prototyping workflows
• Love for unicorns :)
