Requirements

  • 5+ years of design work experience and a strong background, ideally in enterprise B2B applications, with a high bar for quality design and impeccable attention to detail
  • A portfolio showcasing previous design projects, including visuals and a description of the design process
  • A great communicator with interpersonal skills who can communicate complex concepts and ideas to many stakeholders with varying levels of UI/UX design exposure
  • Experience planning and conducting generative user interviews and usability testing of prototypes
  • Passionate about using quantitative data and qualitative research findings to support design decisions and advocate for the best user experience
  • Understands the pillars of design systems, including principles, components, patterns, and accessibility, as both a design system consumer and design system creator
  • Fluent in UX design tools and methods for creating mockups and prototypes such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, and others
  • Driven by curiosity and humility to seek feedback until we get it right for the customer
  • A growth mindset with a passion for sharing learning through mentorship, presentations, and more

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and key customer-facing teams to envision and iterate a highly desirable, technically feasible, and economically viable UX vision
  • Partner with Product Management to integrate and prioritize UX requirements into product roadmaps
  • Provide creative direction and contribute to thought leadership around design processes within the organization
  • Collaborate with the design team to help establish best practices and work hands-on, creating design deliverables such as sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, design system components, prototypes, personas, research plans, and other types of presentations
  • Oversee and quality control the implementation of designs across the product suite so that our customers receive a cohesive product experience
  • Improve your team’s work by asking for and offering feedback from other product designers and cross-functional teammates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Performance Management or Background Check applications
  • Proven ability to lead application redesigns
  • Experience with MUI, or a similar react component library
  • Ability to transform complex product rules into intuitive experiences
  • Experience using AI-based tools to increase efficiency
