Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join Peerspace, a remote-first company, as a Product Designer and become part of a product development pod. Collaborate closely with the Experience Director and Product Manager to translate strategy and research insights into design concepts. You will create prototypes for research, generate iterative recommendations, and produce designs using the company's design system. Requirements

• Optimistic attitude to solve problems through design, collaboration, feedback, and iteration
• Comfort collaborating with a fully-remote team in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with Design Systems and working through governance
• Ability to design and prototype in Figma and, if needed, ProtoPie
• Strong UI, UX, and visual design skills and experience using a design system and working through design system governance
• Experience designing for desktop web, mobile web, and mobile (iOS and Android)
• 3+ years of experience as a UX or product designer

Responsibilities

• Team up with your pod daily, asking questions and showing design ideas and recommendations
• Design high-quality solutions (using Figma) that meet customer and business needs
• Create prototypes for moderated and unmoderated research (you will not conduct research)
• Define requirements throughout the design process; design influences product requirements; collaborate and recommend UI states to address use-cases and edge-cases
• Adapt and enhance information architecture to accommodate shifting needs
• Promote and advocate for design and accessibility throughout the project
