Summary
Join Kiddom's design team as a Senior Product Designer and play a key role in shaping user experiences for our groundbreaking educational platform. You will research user needs, leverage Kiddom's mission and product strategy, and collaborate with the product development team to create impactful, user-centric solutions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in design or a related field, 5+ years of product design experience, and a strong portfolio. You'll need to be a confident decision-maker, possess strategic and tactical skills, and be proficient in UX design tools like Figma. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design or a design-related field
- 5+ years of experience in product design
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional product design with wide adoption
- The confidence and ability to make informed and integral decisions as a project lead
- An affinity for strategic system-level thinking combined with mad tactical skills
- A devotion to logical and extensible interaction design
- Proficiency with the standard UX design tools - we mostly use Figma
- Visual design skills and the ability to both utilize and extend existing design systems
- Willingness to share knowledge and experience with other team members
- Communication skills that relay all of the above to produce exceptional product
- The ability to quickly prototype ideas or specifications, when words aren’t enough
Responsibilities
- Research and understand user needs and challenges
- Leverage Kiddom’s mission and product strategy to inform high-level decisions
- Create solutions that bring the best tools and processes to our users
- Collaborate closely with the entire product development team
- Help drive impactful and user-centric innovation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in education technology
- Technical competence with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JS
- UX animation and/or audio skills
