Summary
Join us as a Senior Product Designer and shape the user experience, visual identity, and white-label solutions of our core travel products. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing professionals to create seamless and engaging digital experiences for some of the world's largest airline and hotel loyalty programs. Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and prototyping to final implementation. Conduct thorough user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive design elements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of design strategies. Establish and maintain comprehensive design standards. Advocate for user-centered design while balancing business objectives and industry trends. Translate business objectives and user needs into intuitive and visually appealing design solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product design with a proven track record of delivering impactful digital experiences
- A portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design, problem-solving methodologies, and high-impact execution
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma and prototyping platforms
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction patterns
- Experience developing and maintaining scalable design systems and component libraries
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationales to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A strategic mindset that balances creativity with analytical thinking, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals
- Experience with optimizations and experimentation to enhance product performance and user engagement
- A focus on future-proofing designs for scalability and adaptability, emphasizing seamless mobile experiences
Responsibilities
- Leading the end-to-end design process, encompassing user research, prototyping, usability testing, and final implementation to ensure a user-centered approach
- Conducting thorough user research, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product performance
- Developing wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity prototypes, and interactive design elements that optimize engagement and drive seamless user interactions
- Collaborating with product managers and engineers to ensure the successful execution of design strategies and user experience enhancements
- Establishing and maintaining comprehensive design standards, including systems and component libraries, to promote product consistency, efficiency, and scalability
- Advocating for user-centered design while balancing technical constraints, business objectives, and industry trends. This includes working with stakeholders to prioritize user needs and leverage usability improvements for enhanced efficiency, reduced friction, and overall product optimization
- Translating business objectives and user needs into intuitive, visually appealing, and functionally robust design solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the travel, loyalty, or aviation industry
- Knowledge of front-end development principles and how design decisions impact implementation
- Experience in motion design and micro-interactions, utilizing them to enhance engagement, provide intuitive user feedback, and create seamless transitions within digital experiences
- Understanding accessibility best practices and inclusive design methodologies to ensure usability across diverse user groups
