This multifaceted role involves internal and external responsibilities, including governing the quarterly roadmap for Electron Benefits, Tachyon Deposits, and Tachyon ITP to support HSA, FSA, HRA, and other employer benefit programs. You will assist product and engineering teams in platform development and maintenance, collaborate on operational capabilities and SOPs, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position also includes supporting sales and sales engineering efforts, managing customer engagements, and gathering requirements. Requirements

  • Ability to translate market needs and regulatory requirements into product specifications and backlog items
  • Comfort with customer-facing engagements and working with cross-functional GTM teams (Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing)
  • Ability to articulate complex technical products to business stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of tax-advantaged benefit accounts, including HSA, FSA, HRA
  • Indepth knowledge ofIRS guidelines, HSA/FSA-related tax form generations, contribution limits, qualified medical expenses, rollover provisions, custodial arrangements
  • Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA compliance requirements as they relate to employer-sponsored benefit plans
  • Familiarity in employer benefit plan design, including pre-tax vs. post-tax treatment, eligibility criteria, and employee communication requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in building or managing HSA/FSA/HRA platforms for banks, TPAs, or fintechs
  • Strong grasp of platform configuration options (e.g., plan year, contribution schedule, rollover settings)
  • Deep understanding of benefits account lifecycle operations, including: Account origination and KYC onboarding, Funding flows, Payment adjudication rules, Claim submission and substantiation processes and Reconciliation and reporting workflows
  • Experience defining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for: Customer service, Contribution management, Disbursement handling, Fraud mitigation and overpayment recovery
  • Knowledge and understanding of integrations with Payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Gusto) for funding and deductions, TPA platforms, Payment networks and Investment platforms for HSA
  • Past experience in interfacing with enterprise clients, leading requirement gathering, and providing implementation support

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy - Govern quarterly road map for Electron Benefits, Tachyon Deposits and Tachyon ITP to support HSA, FSA, HRA and other Employer Benefit programs
  • Product Management - Assisting our central Product and Engineering teams to build and maintain the Platform
  • Operations Strategy - Assisting Product and Operations teams to build capabilities and define SOPs for running HSA, FSA, HRA and Benefits Operations including Account Operations and Payment Operations
  • Compliance Strategy - Assisting Product and Implementation teams to configure relevant regulatory compliance and reporting for HSA, FSA, HRA and other Employer Benefit programs
  • Go-to-Market - Supporting Sales and Sales Engineering motions by delivering SaaS and platform pitches
  • Engagement Management - Interfacing with Customer teams on ongoing projects for requirement gathering and subject matter expertise, as a part of the Implementation team
