Senior Product Manager

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in financial markets, trading, product management, and compliance within the financial technology sector. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish to collaborate with business and technical areas
• 4+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling financial tech products
• Experience managing high-volume, revenue-generating products is essential
• Strong understanding the financial industry, trading concepts, crypto markets, and related technologies
• Knowledge and sensibility toward financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Solid grasp of software development processes and agile methodologies
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Looker, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Power BI)
• Sufficient technology knowledge to work with both BE and FE developers and other team roles
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive project completion under tight deadlines
• Adaptability and resilience to comfortably navigate under uncertainty and thrive in a volatile and cyclical industry
• High level of responsibility and ability to work autonomously and independently
• Capacity to successfully translate problems into actionable solutions in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a clear vision aligned with the company's overall objectives for Bitso's core product to empower customers toward exploring, analyzing, buying/selling and managing crypto
• Work with product leadership & markets team to craft and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and user needs
• Communicate product plans, progress, and results to key stakeholders, including executive leadership
• Identify, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features and enhancements, taking full ownership of the life-cycle, from ideation to launch, iterations, and sunsets
• Deeply understand user needs and behaviors through user research, data analysis, market insights, behavioral experimentation, and A/B testing to inform product decisions
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the crypto space to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
• Utilize data and analytics tools to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, drive continuous optimization and integrate models into customer-facing features
• Effectively collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, data science, compliance, customer support, and other relevant enablement areas to ensure seamless product development and launch

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in the Fintech or Crypto industry, with focus on trading or investment products, is highly preferred
• Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MSc)
• Experience with AI and Machine Learning models
• Product Management certifications (e.g., Reforge)
• Active participation in the crypto community
