Summary
Join ExtraHop's world-class product management team as an individual contributor, leading the development of behavioral, heuristic, and IOC-based detection capabilities for our market-leading NDR product. You will build rapport with customers and partners, become an expert in network-based attacker tactics, and drive the product roadmap. This role requires strong product management and security domain expertise, along with experience in cross-functional alignment. You will prioritize the product roadmap, maximizing business and customer value. ExtraHop offers a hybrid/remote work model and various benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years in the security domain is required with a preference for security product management, threat research, security engineering or security analyst experience
- Experience with technology used to develop behavioral detection and prioritization models including; threat intelligence, machine learning, statistical analysis, graph analysis, β¦
- Technical aptitude coupled with an enthusiasm for technology and the ability to translate this into compelling narratives
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create exceptional content and comfortably engage with sales, customers, and partners
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with ExtraHop customers, prospects and partners to build a deep understand of product use-cases and gather product feedback
- Become an expert in the R(x) detection portfolio in order to effectively evangelize the product roadmap to customers and partners
- Become an expert in network based attacker tactics, techniques and sub-techniques in order to define product strategy, roadmaps and requirements
- Drive R&Dβs shared understanding of the security domain, SOC workflows, attack frameworks (e.g., MITRE), competitive detection portfolios and security market competitive dynamics
- Lead the delivery of the product roadmap in conjunction with your partners in product development and product design
- Identify and vet new opportunities to grow and expand the business; drive execution planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Marketing, Alliances, Sales, ..)
- Prioritize product roadmap, maximizing business and customer value in changing market conditions and balancing investment in established product functionality against the introduction of new use cases
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters in business administration or cybersecurity
- 2-5 years experience in security product management is strongly preferred with a deep understanding of the network security detection stack
