Summary
Join Galileo, a leading financial technology company, as a Senior Product Manager in our Issuer Processing team. Spearhead the product roadmap and drive strategic execution for credit and debit card issuance processing capabilities. Enable scalable and robust processing solutions for financial institutions, fintechs, and brands. Leverage deep subject matter expertise in end-to-end issuer processing, including credit processing solutions, debit processing, and ATM-initiated transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, operations, risk, and compliance. Successfully manage stakeholder expectations and drive product delivery with demonstrable results. This role requires independent interfacing and decision-making with stakeholders across various business units and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or higher with a technical discipline and 8+ years product management experience OR
- Advanced degree or MBA with BS or higher in Computer Science preferred and 5+ years of product management experience
- Domain knowledge of Credit Card Platforms, Card Processing, ATM Processing, and reconciliation services
- Prior experience managing system integrators
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
- Highly organized and capable of helping teams navigate ambiguity and execute with confidence
- Ability to work with remote teams
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and drive product backlogs with your dedicated and dependent engineering teams
- Understand complex business and operational requirements and break them down into epics and user stories for engineering teams
- Continuously monitor for opportunities, respond to production concerns, and provide innovative solutions that conform to high security standards while maintaining a delightful user experience
- Collaborate with various internal teams such as infrastructure, networking, security, compliance, relationship managers and external teams like payment card networks to build seamlessly integrated solutions
- Be the voice of the customer, understand their pain points and work with various internal team members to provide a complete solution
- Work with internal project stakeholders from marketing, sales, operations to translate customer needs into meaningful products while leading go to market activities like client communication and pricing strategy
- Lead in a fast-paced, agile, multi-country, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to mobile and digital wallets processing is a plus
