Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with developer products
  • Analytical horsepower: You dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results
  • Customer and Partner facing experience: You’re comfortable in front of customers or third-party collaborators, and have experience navigating customer conversations
  • Demonstrated success in implementing product strategies with drive and determination
  • Operational rigor: You are strong operationally, capable of designing and driving across-functional team and process
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Craft the product story by understanding the landscape, user needs, and HashiCorp principles
  • Write detailed problem requirement documents to set the context for the product roadmap
  • Prioritize the offering roadmap by taking feedback from HashiCorp Secure practitioners, ecosystem partners, engineering, marketing, and the HashiCorp vision
  • Conduct user research and customer discovery work teaming up with the design team to define and review design prototypes
  • Develop JTBD and Critical User Journeys in collaboration with Design for the targeted Persona as part of the discovery process
  • Write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to distill the research into requirements for engineering to deliver
  • Communicate product status to all partners. Keep sales and marketing updated on feature releases and keep engineering informed on feature requests
  • Help with sales and marketing collateral to educate on the product story and features (Website copy, whitepapers, sales decks, FAQs, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing experience with Vault and HashiCorp products are desired
  • Strong technical acumen: Solid understanding of security, infrastructure & cloud technologies preferred

Benefits

  • The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is: $195,500 β€” $230,000 USD
  • The base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is: $170,300 β€” $210,900 USD
  • The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is: $162,900 β€” $191,700 USD
