Requirements
- 6-8 years of product management experience, ideally in gaming, skill gaming, or consumer-tech
- Experience with mobile-first products; strong grasp of user funnels and engagement loops specifically for Indian users across tier 1-3 cities
- Strong understanding of game economies, player motivations, and monetization models with proven ability to balance player value with business outcomes
- Experience presenting to and influencing Executive-level stakeholders
- Track record of driving growth and retention in a live product (1→100 phase) with measurable impact on key metrics
- Track record of influencing product direction at organizational level
- Sharp instincts for product prioritization; a bias for action and ruthless focus with ability to make complex trade-offs
- Strong sense of user empathy with ability to deeply understand Indian player psychology, trust factors, and regional behaviors
- Ability to translate business goals into product outcomes while maintaining delightful user experiences
- Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, data) with proven ability to influence without authority at senior levels
- Experience driving product strategy across multiple workstreams or product areas
- Experience in A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and analytics tools with data-driven approach to decision making
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with distributed teams while maintaining high quality bar
- Proven ability to mentor junior PMs and contribute to product org development
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and strategy, working closely with leadership to define long-term goals for Hike Gaming Nation
- Improve and scale the core product experience — from gameplay to payments
- Define and track key metrics — retention, ARPU, session time, churn — and act on insights with hourly/daily/weekly reporting cadence
- Conduct deep user research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities
- Stay ahead of RMG trends, compliance needs, and platform best practices
- Develop product strategy for different user segments (casual vs pro players, tier 1 vs tier 2/3 cities)
- Create product roadmap aligned with Indian cultural moments (IPL, festivals) that impact engagement
- Lead strategic planning and drive alignment across multiple teams
- Define product principles and frameworks that guide decision-making across the team
- Identify AI opportunities that enhance player experience and business metrics
- Run experiments to test hypotheses across onboarding, retention, and monetization with focus on statistical significance
- Drive experimentation at scale – from onboarding flows to rewards systems
- Champion the voice of the player in every decision made through regular user interviews and feedback loops
- Pioneer India-first features (vernacular support, regional game preferences, local payment methods)
- Innovate on trust-building mechanisms for first-time RMG users
- Identify and drive breakthrough opportunities that can 10x impact
- Collaborate with Rev Ops, Growth and Marketing to drive user engagement and reactivation through data-driven campaigns
- Identify and fix key friction points across the user journey with focus on payment success rates and depsit/withdrawal experience
- Partner with Design and Engineering to ship high-quality, impactful features on aggressive timelines
- Launch new features, iterate quickly, and use data to optimize performance with post-launch monitoring
- Identify and resolve user pain points – make the experience frictionless especially for new-to-RMG users
- Write comprehensive PRDs with clear success metrics and edge cases
- Manage feature rollouts with phased approach (beta → staged → full launch)
- Coordinate with customer support to understand user issues and iterate quickly
- Own product operations metrics - crash rates, load times, payment success rates
- Drive process improvements that increase team velocity and quality
- Own relationships with key platform partners (Apple, Google) and payment providers
- Own & present product insights and strategy to senior leadership
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across functions and influence product direction
- Lead hiring and building world-class product team & Mentoring junior PMs to help them grow their careers
- Share learnings and best practices across the product organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered features in consumer products
- Ability to collaborate with data science teams and translate ML capabilities into product features
- Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and their application in gaming contexts
