Requirements

  • 5+ years Proven Product Management Experience: managing complex products with a strong track record of driving strategy and delivering results
  • Strategic, analytical and metrics-driven mindset
  • Skilled at crafting bold product visions and translating them into actionable strategies and roadmaps
  • Uses data and clearly defined success metrics to evaluate impact - such as productivity gains, performance improvements, and cost reduction
  • Solid grasp of software development and architecture fundamentals, able to engage engineers on design trade-offs
  • Experience leading across Engineering, Design, QA, Data, and DevOps
  • Adept at stakeholder management and aligning diverse teams around a shared platform vision and roadmap
  • Excellent Communicator with User Empathy
  • Able to simplify complex technical topics for varied audiences, including senior leadership
  • Writes clear documentation and champions internal users, understanding the needs of OLX developers and product teams to improve their experience

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear strategy and long-term roadmap for OLX's internal platform products, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals and technical direction
  • Prioritize high-impact initiatives that support internal teams and enable future growth
  • Own core platform areas such as developer enablement (CI/CD, tooling), shared services/components, advertising infrastructure, and mobile app frameworks
  • Drive scalability, reliability, and reusability across teams and markets
  • Act as the voice of OLX's internal users - engineers, data scientists, product teams - deeply understanding their workflows, pain points, and needs
  • Ensure platform solutions improve developer experience and address real internal customer challenges
  • Work closely with engineering, DevOps, architecture, product managers, and business stakeholders to co-create platform solutions
  • Promote a "platform-as-a-product" mindset and ensure services alignment with team roadmaps and organizational goals
  • Lead platform initiatives through the full product lifecycle - from discovery to delivery - while managing dependencies, timelines, and quality
  • Design systems and APIs for scale, reusability, and flexibility to support future external or multi-market use cases
  • Define and track KPIs like adoption rates, time-to-market, system performance, and developer satisfaction
  • Use insights to drive improvements
  • Establish governance standards (e.g., documentation, APIs, change management) and stay current with industry best practices to maintain OLX's technical edge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in platform or technically-oriented products (e.g. internal tools, B2B SaaS, infrastructure, developer platforms)
  • Familiarity with cloud services, APIs, microservices, and developer tooling; CS/engineering background is a plus
  • Knowledge of marketplaces or ad tech is a bonus
