Summary
Join 1Password as a Senior Product Manager to lead the Data and Access team, focusing on enhancing user experience in data management within the 1Password platform. You will spearhead the strategic vision, development, and execution of features related to Item Creation, Search, Vault Management, and User Permissions. This role demands a deep technical understanding of product fundamentals to deliver engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who identifies issues and proposes solutions. Experience in customer-facing roles within software development, design, or user research is a plus. This is a remote position based in Canada or the US.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience owning a product or a set of features and being responsible for its ultimate success with at least 4 years of SaaS experience
- Track record of shipping and improving software and driving business impact through the feature/product you owned
- Radical ownership of the problem space. You identify problems and you make them go away
- Experience working to deliver technical solutions that are used as the foundation to deliver features to customers
- A good understanding of security, technology and infrastructure trends that drives and influences customers to need to integrate solutions
- An action-bias that won’t wait to create change
- Obsession with internal customer problems
- Represent the voice of the customer to motivate the team
- Strong presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that scales from technical to non-technical
- Ability to inspire and bring together different teams and stakeholders to drive forward, solve problems and remove roadblocks
- Ability to prioritize tasks and use data - both qualitative and quantitative - to drive decision-making
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of features related to Item Creation, Search, Vault Management, User Permissions and more
- Thrive in an environment requiring deep technical understanding of the foundational layers of products so that you can help deliver a delightful and engaging experience for our users
- Identify problems and propose recommendations and solutions
- Define and complete 1Password’s product portfolio strategy focusing on all aspects of platform stability, quality, performance, and distribution
- Take a holistic view of a customers' needs that cross buyers, users, and administrators
- Work with Engineering, Design, Marketing and GTM teams to ensure quality, security and usability of the service
Preferred Qualifications
- Background and experience in the fields of user privacy, security, identity and access management are a plus
- Excellent presentation skills and experience training internal teams as part of bringing products to market, particularly the sales, support and customer success teams

- The annual base salary for this role is between $146,000 USD and $198,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs
