Summary

Join Reddit's Ads team as a Staff Product Manager and lead the development and optimization of Reddit's ad marketplace. Requirements

  • Experience: 6-8+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years spent shipping impactful products in B2B or B2C contexts, particularly in areas like auctions, ranking, or information retrieval
  • Advertising Expertise: Strong background in online advertising, including experience with ad auctions, real-time bidding, or display advertising
  • ML Experience: A proven track record of working on ML-based advertising products and driving product innovation using machine learning techniques
  • Data-Driven Approach: Expertise in using data to drive decisions and business outcomes. You should be comfortable diving into analytics, building experiments, and iterating based on insights
  • Product Leadership: You have experience managing the full product lifecycle—from concept to execution—and can make tough prioritization decisions while balancing competing stakeholder needs
  • Strong Communication: You excel at collaborating across teams and can communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Own the Ads Marketplace Vision: Drive the product strategy and execution for Reddit’s auction marketplace, ensuring it scales efficiently and delivers measurable value for all participants—advertisers, users, and Reddit
  • Lead Innovation: Partner with cross-functional teams to design, experiment with, and launch new features and ML-driven models
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Engineers, Data Scientists, Sales, and other product teams to build solutions that address key marketplace challenges, from auction mechanics to supply and pricing optimization
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Use a deep understanding of metrics, analytics, and competitive research to define product strategy, identify opportunities for improvement, and shape the evolution of the ads marketplace
  • Impact the Bottom Line: Define and own KPIs that track both advertiser outcomes and marketplace efficiency, with a strong focus on revenue growth, user experience, and long-term sustainability
  • Shape Reddit’s Growth: Play a central role in defining and driving Reddit’s overall monetization strategy, ensuring that the marketplace remains efficient, fair, and innovative as it scales
