Senior Product Manager

Summary

Join ShiftKey as a Senior Product Manager and enhance our marketplace platform within the healthcare labor industry. You will shape solutions improving marketplace dynamics, focusing on matching efficiency, supply-demand alignment, and platform integrity. Responsibilities include setting a clear roadmap, understanding user workflows, using a continuous discovery approach, collaborating with the product trio, leading rapid iterations, guiding delivery teams, leading pilot programs, fostering strong team dynamics, anticipating roadblocks, working cross-functionally, and operating with an empowered product mindset. The role requires 7+ years of experience in software development with at least 4 years in product management, expertise in product discovery and delivery, strong problem-solving skills, data analysis abilities, and relationship-building skills. You must be located in the US and can work remotely or from an office in Austin, Dallas, or Cleveland. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the software development space (engineering, design, data analysis) with at least 4 years in a direct product management role
• Proven expertise in modern product discovery and product delivery techniques and methods
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt across multiple functional areas of business, including engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks and present well-structured, data-informed arguments
• Proven ability to analyze data and leverage insights to drive better decision-making
• Proven track record of building constructive and collaborative relationships with product teams, designers, and company leadership

Responsibilities

• Setting and evangelizing a clear roadmap for marketplace evolution, grounded in outcome-based objectives and insights from continuous product discovery
• Building a deep understanding of user workflows, platform friction points, and marketplace-specific dynamics such as pricing, supply liquidity, and booking behavior
• Using a continuous discovery approach to validate concepts with customers and stakeholders, identifying the highest-impact opportunities
• Collaborating with your product trio (product manager, designer, engineering lead) to define desired outcomes and map problem/solution spaces using tools like opportunity solution trees
• Leading rapid iterations with fast feedback loops to test and refine ideas before full investment
• Guiding a delivery team from validated discovery ideas through launch, ensuring the product delivers measurable results to users and the business
• Leading or supporting pilot programs to assess product-market fit and de-risk new marketplace capabilities
• Fostering strong team dynamics by encouraging collaboration, performance, and individual growth, while delivering results through ownership and cross-functional partnership to navigate ambiguity and constraints
• Anticipating roadblocks and acting with urgency and ownership to move forward, especially when resolving complex or time-sensitive marketplace issues
• Working cross-functionally with marketing, legal, support, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth go-to-market execution and long-term product success
• Operating with an empowered product mindset - taking full accountability for delivering outcomes, not just shipping features - by solving real customer and business problems with practical, user-centered solutions
