Summary
Join SingleStore's team and contribute to the success of the fastest-growing database. As a Senior PM/Product Manager, you will play a key role in executing SingleStore's vision of being the only unified data platform for Enterprise AI. This role focuses on PLG and Developer Experience, encompassing activation, adoption, monetization, and features like data loading, SQL editor, and notebooks. You will work with various teams, including prospects, customers, product, engineering, sales, and marketing. A key responsibility is ensuring new users experience the platform's performance for Enterprise AI. You will report to the Director of Product Management of Growth and have visibility to the CEO. The role offers a chance to significantly impact the company's growth and product strategy.
Requirements
- The title (PM or Senior PM) is determined in the hiring process
- At least 3 years of work experience
- At least 1 year of experience in software
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable with spreadsheets and/or BI tools to analyze data
- Excellent communication skills; able to synthesize insights and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where curiosity and a bias for action are valued
- Familiarity with product development processes, from ideation to launch
- Bachelor's degree required
Responsibilities
- Grow revenue with a particular focus on our free trial
- Identifying and solving key friction points in our self-serve journey to improve conversion and expansion
- Defining hypotheses for those friction points and validating that they meet our prospect and customer needs through experimentation
- Optimizing levers (e.g., onboarding, activation, monetization, and engagement) through data-driven experimentation
- Measuring, learning, and iterating based on key growth metrics, ensuring continuous improvement
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing, in product planning and execution
- Establishing plans to realize commercial viability (the potential of our business/product to make $ and compete effectively)
Preferred Qualifications
- Product-led growth experience is a nice-to-have. Knowledge is a must-have
- Experience with SQL and/or Python is a big plus
