Summary

Join Wunderflats, Germany's leading flexible furnished housing platform, as a Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of marketplace payment flows. You will execute new payment methods and features, iterate on the First Month’s Rent feature, and use data to inform product decisions. This high-impact role involves close collaboration with engineers, designers, finance, and operations teams. You will report to the Product Lead for Payments and play a key role in scaling the company's payment infrastructure. The position requires a strong background in fintech or payments and proven experience in product management. Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Product Manager in the fintech or payments domain (e.g. PSPs, marketplace payments, payout systems)
  • Strong data and analytical skills – Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker Studio) to guide decisions and measure impact
  • Experience working in a cross-functional product team delivering features end-to-end
  • Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Structured thinking, prioritization, and a doer mindset – you make things happen
  • Curiosity, empathy, and a growth mindset – you’re constantly learning and improving

Responsibilities

  • Own the product development and optimization of Wunderflats’ marketplace payment flows
  • Execute new payment methods and features, working closely with engineers, design, finance, legal, and customer operations
  • Iterate on the First Month’s Rent feature to improve user experience, adoption, and operational efficiency
  • Use data to inform product decisions, run experiments, and evaluate impact
  • Translate complex challenges into structured, actionable work for your cross-functional team
  • Collaborate with the Product Lead to shape the broader roadmap for payments and rent handling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with implementing or optimizing payment methods or payout flows
  • Background in data analytics or working closely with a data team
  • Experience in a marketplace or scale-up environment
  • Exposure to financial compliance, risk, or cost optimization
