Summary
Join Kraken, a leading cryptocurrency company, as a Product Manager specializing in segregated custody vaults. You will develop and execute product strategy, collaborating with engineering, treasury, compliance, and security teams. This fully remote role requires 7+ years of product management experience in a technology company, a deep understanding of crypto custody and wallet management, and strong communication skills. You will be responsible for defining success metrics, prioritizing customer needs, and working with cross-functional teams. Kraken offers a dynamic work environment in a rapidly growing industry.
Requirements
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of crypto custody and wallet management, experience with HSMs and hardware wallets
- Comprehensive knowledge of on-chain data and experience using blockchain vendors
- 7+ years experience working as a product manager or similar role in a technology company
- Experience coordinating a full lifecycle of product development, incl. launching features to consumers, through frontend and backend platform development
- Experience working with and coordinating operations of large cross-functional and interdisciplinary working groups (e.g. product management, engineering, data, design, etc.)
- Tenacious, self starter who thrives in understanding the details of complex, cross-functional projects and can effectively distill into actionable project plans
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
- Have the energy and patience to work in a dynamic team and rapidly growing industry, while applying a methodical and analytical mindset
- Ability to simplify operational and informational complexity, delivering the right message to each stakeholder
- Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product strategy, planning and roadmap execution towards segregated custody vaults
- Partner with Engineering, Treasury, Compliance, Security and other product leads to plan and build funds' custody solutions and infrastructure
- Pro-actively identify new needs and discover ways to take the product to the next level
- Understand the needs from multiple teams and prioritize the highest impact on customers
- Work closely with stakeholders on quarterly planning to develop detailed technical PRDs and manage backlogs
- Define and report on success metrics and targets
