Summary
Join Sumo Logic as a Senior Product Manager II and lead the development of our user experience and dashboarding capabilities within our platform team. You will collaborate with engineering, product management, sales, and marketing teams to create intuitive dashboards. Responsibilities include defining product vision and strategy, gathering user feedback, maintaining the product roadmap, working with cross-functional teams, representing customer needs, partnering with engineering, contributing to go-to-market strategies, and developing sales enablement materials. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of product management experience, a strong understanding of data visualization technologies, B2B SaaS experience, excellent communication skills, and a data-driven mindset. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; an MBA is a plus. The position is #LI-Remote.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on user experience, dashboarding, or data visualization solutions
- Strong understanding of data visualization technologies, such as D3, Highcharts, React or similar, and how they can be applied to create compelling user experiences
- Experience in working with B2B SaaS products and the ability to navigate complex decision-making environments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven track record of effectively engaging with customers and cross-functional teams
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use analytics to inform product decisions and prioritize development efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for an exceptional user experience and innovative dashboard features that drive customer engagement and satisfaction across our platform
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather and analyze user feedback, use cases, and requirements to ensure our dashboarding capabilities meet their needs while enhancing the overall platform user experience
- Maintain a detailed product roadmap supported by data analysis and competitive positioning to prioritize features and enhancements effectively
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and gather platform requirements that enhance user experience and dashboard functionalities
- Represent the voice of the customer to product engineering teams and executives, ensuring user needs are at the forefront of product development
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure our dashboarding solutions are scalable, reliable, and performant, making prioritization decisions as necessary
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies, collaborating with product marketing and sales to effectively communicate the value of our user experience and dashboarding capabilities
- Develop sales enablement materials, including whitepapers, blogs, presentations, and product demos to showcase our dashboarding features
