Requirements

  • 5-7 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in a startup or small, fast-growing company
  • 2-3 years of product marketing experience in a B2B SaaS/software company, with at least 1 year in product documentation and education
  • Experience managing multi-layered product marketing projects and product launches
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills adaptable to diverse B2B audiences
  • Comfort with public speaking and presenting products in videos and live demos
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Excellent references from coworkers and managers

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop all product marketing materials, working closely with Product & Design
  • Work closely with Design, Support, and Engineering to develop resources that support sales and client success objectives
  • Own product launches, often serving as project manager for the new feature, integration, or service expansion
  • Leverage marketing channels, client ambassadors, affiliate networks, and institutional partners to gain insights into market demand for new products, to identify areas of expansion, and to garner exposure for new releases
  • Develop and execute product marketing research and product/feature launch plans
  • Evaluate partners and platforms that may feature Smith.ai products and services, determining their value and making a case to leadership for participation in new initiatives
  • Maintain brand consistency in all communications, ensuring accurate and on-brand messaging
  • Ensure salespeople are effectively and accurately communicating products and features
  • Develop product-related content (written, video, diagrams, etc.) for end-users to attract new users and promote product adoption
  • Launch new features, products, and services, collaborating with internal and external teams
  • Generate qualified leads from existing and new product-related partners and listings
  • Serve as the go-to product expert for internal and external audiences, relaying feedback to the Product team
  • Track, analyze, and report on product marketing activities, focusing on product adoption metrics
  • Orchestrate and support events (virtual and occasional U.S. travel) to educate leads, clients, and partners, including developing materials and presentations
  • Work with the Product team to facilitate early-adopter programs
