Summary
Join Palo Alto Networks as a Senior Scale Team Consultant and contribute to the growth of our services business by developing automation-based solutions. Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and subject matter experts to empower customers to achieve secure digital transformation. Key responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, identifying critical assumptions, developing tools, and delivering solutions. You will work with Services Sales and the Center of Excellence to build automation solutions and support the tools for successful implementation. This role involves collaborating with the Global Scale Team to drive sustainable services sales and business growth. You will play a key role in automating the deployment of virtualized cybersecurity solutions in the public cloud, working in an agile methodology, and mentoring teammates.
Requirements
- Proof of 7+ years of professional, hands-on operational experience in the field of Network, DevOps or SysOps
- Excellent knowledge of networking and cyber security
- Excellent knowledge of at least one of the public cloud, including advanced cloud networking
- Knowledge of Linux
- Knowledge of at least one of the IaC automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM templates etc.)
- Understanding of SDN and VNF concepts
- Knowledge of at least two of the following clouds: AWS, AZURE, GCP, OCI
- Fluent in English (min B2 level)

Responsibilities
- Deliver services and help grow the Palo Alto Networks services business by developing new automation-based solutions
- Empower customers to achieve secure digital transformation by creating service solutions that meet their business and technical goals
- Support technology transformations and advise on the best delivery services to maximize value within the Palo Alto Networks offerings, ensuring customers successfully leverage our solutions for large-scale changes
- Gather, understand and document customer-specific scope requirements and expectations for value-based outcomes
- Identify critical assumptions that need to be true to support the project timeline
- Develop tools and deliver solutions to fulfill customer requirements
- Collaborate and work with Services Sales and Center of Excellence Practices to construct automation based solutions to deliver value-based outcomes
- Develop and support the tools necessary to enable the successful implementation of these solutions
- Play a key role in driving sustainable services sales and overall business growth for Palo Alto Networks
- Leverage the tools and capabilities developed by the Global Scale Team to effectively market and sell our services
- Automate deployment of virtualized cybersecurity solutions in public cloud
- Work in agile methodology and collaborate with the rest of the team (managers, Cloud / Devops Engineers, Solution Architects, Professional Services Engineers)
- Troubleshoot existing solutions and propose improvements to existing systems
- Work with customers located mainly in US
- Work in US working hours (less than 25% of your working time will be expected in the range of 2 - 10 pm CET)
- Mentor teammates and share knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks solutions
- Knowledge of script language (Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
