Senior Project Manager

Summary

Join Caylent's growing Cloud Project Management team as a seasoned Project Manager. You will oversee projects, ensuring timely, in-scope, and on-budget completion. Responsibilities include planning, stakeholder management, team leadership, risk mitigation, performance monitoring, and communication. The ideal candidate possesses at least 8 years of client-facing project management experience in cloud consulting, managing projects exceeding $500,000 budgets, and utilizing various project management methodologies. Requirements

• At least 8 years of proven experience in a client-facing Project Manager role, preferably in cloud consulting or related services
• Managed technical projects that consist of 5 or more people and over $500,000 budget
• Ability to leverage multiple Project Management methodologies and/or approaches to drive the best Client experience (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting management to drive accuracy in revenue projections to realization
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects and ensure they are executed with excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships
• Ability to interact with clients at both a business and technical level

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assigned projects, including setting goals between clients and delivery teams, planning and execution of projects, conducting regular touch-points and coordinating account-related activities as needed
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals
• Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure successful project execution
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively
• Track project progress against milestones, using KPIs and reporting tools to assess performance and make data-driven decisions
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with infrastructure modernization, application development and/or data engineering disciplines
• Experience working in a client-facing environment
• Experience working in consulting or professional services
