Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, or a related field
- At least 4 years managing projects with a strong preference for technology consulting and/or implementing a full suite of Microsoft products
- Project Management of Microsoft 365 migration experience is required
- Ability to travel up to 10% to customers’ location is required
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage projects within a Microsoft tech consulting space (M365, Exchange Migrations)
- Develop highly complex project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Align project management approach to the nature of the specific services being delivered in close coordination with technical practice leadership
- Identify/anticipate, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Create and socialize mitigation plans to address risks and issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, demonstrating high EQ
- Know and understand the product or solution being delivered and how it will provide business value to the customer
- Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring they are focused on meeting project objectives and delivering high-quality results
- Manage project resources, including internal staff and partners
- Ensure project documentation is complete and up to date, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and other project-related documentation
- Scope champion; ensure all project tasks are within scope and budget, comfortable managing the customer’s expectations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and share best practices across the organization
- Mentor junior team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management within a merger and acquisition environment is preferred
- Project management within the Healthcare industry is preferred
- Experience managing projects in conjunction with partner resources
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and project teams
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc), tools, and techniques
- Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools and project management software such as Microsoft Project, Teams, and Microsoft Dynamics Project Operations
- Strong ability to perceive nuances of the project team, partner and vendor stakeholders, and customer’s organization and communication dynamics; politically astute
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to lead and motivate project teams to deliver high-quality results
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience using MS Dynamics Project Operations to manage projects highly preferred
- Experience working in a consulting environment
- Prior experience as a technical consultant is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft Azure is preferred
