Senior Project Manager

Requirements

• Prior experience as a project manager in an agency setting or comparable is helpful
• 3-5 years of experience in project management
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Knowledge of resource management software and project management tools. Proficiency with Kantata is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Create and enforce project schedules and budgets; confidently communicate with team and clients when schedule or budget adjustments are necessary
• Act as a communication hub for project team, partners, vendors, and clients
• Set and manage expectations for the team and client
• Adept at setting and managing client and team expectations in relation to project deliverables, scopes, budgets, timelines
• Lead client meetings and provide concise feedback and next steps post-meeting both internally and externally
• Set up and maintain projects using software tools such as Kantata
• Ensure the quality of the information/communication
• Coordinate approvals and finalization process for timely, error free work
• Adept at problem solving and/or knowing who to go to for help
• Manage multiple projects and make day-to-day decisions to ensure their success
• Supportive of team, collaborative
• Ability to use agency systems and follow established processes and workflow
