Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of end-to-end project management experience in a SaaS or technology company
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with technical and business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, including product development and customer lifecycle management
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Proven ability to translate business needs into clear project plans and deliverables
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align teams
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle: Initiation/Sell – Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria. Planning – Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies. Execution/Build – Oversee stakeholder alignment, task management, and milestone tracking. Control/Manage – Monitor progress, manage risks, and adjust plans as needed to meet project goals. Closing – Conduct project closeout, capture lessons learned, and document outcomes
- Apply project management best practices to optimize internal processes and reduce operational friction
- Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in project execution
- Drive alignment across teams to improve delivery speed and quality
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and customer success
- Facilitate regular status meetings, communicate progress, and manage stakeholder expectations
- Resolve conflicts and escalate issues as needed to keep projects on track
- Partner with senior leadership to translate business goals into actionable project plans
- Monitor and report on project ROI and key performance metrics
- Ensure projects deliver tangible business value, including increased customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain clear and organized project documentation, including project charters, risk assessments, and governance structures
- Provide regular updates to leadership and project sponsors
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification or equivalent project management training is highly desirable
