Senior Project Manager

Summary

Join Rush Street Interactive as a Data, AI & IT Project Manager and lead cross-functional projects, ensuring successful delivery of data analytics, AI, and IT tool implementations. Coordinate with various teams to define project scope, align objectives, and foster collaboration. Support AI enablement by leveraging the data lake for model development and GenAI experimentation. Implement tools to streamline development workflows and boost product delivery. Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards. Drive transparent communication, manage expectations, and mitigate risks. Track, report, and refine project performance using agile methodologies. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of project management experience, and 4+ years of experience in data and IT-related initiatives. A proven track record in managing IT, data, and/or AI projects, preferably in regulated environments, is essential. Strong project management skills and knowledge of Agile methodologies are also required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data, IT or a related field
• 2+ years of project management experience, including cross-functional team coordination and end-to-end delivery
• 4+ years of experience working on data and IT-related initiatives, such as data analytics, AI/ML projects, or enterprise tool implementations
• Proven experience managing IT, data, and/or AI-related projects for at least 3 years, preferably in regulated or tech-driven environments
• Track record delivering data platforms, BI tools, AI/ML initiatives, or SaaS/tooling implementations
• Strong grasp of compliance, data security, and cybersecurity standards relevant to tech organizations
• Solid project management skills with knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall; proficient in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Asana
• Collaborative and results-driven mindset with excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and adaptability across technical and business teams

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Data, AI & IT projects - from analytics and GenAI initiatives to IT tooling - ensuring impactful, successful delivery
• Coordinate across teams to define scope, align objectives, and drive collaboration between Data, Product, Engineering, IT and various other stakeholders
• Support AI enablement, leveraging the data lake for model development and GenAI experimentation with clear oversight
• Implement tools to boost product delivery, streamlining development workflows and fostering continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance and data security, aligning all projects with regulatory, cybersecurity, and relevant industry standards
• Drive transparent communication, managing internal and external expectations, timelines, and risk mitigation
• Track, report, and refine performance using agile or hybrid methods while building documentation for knowledge sharing
