Requirements

  • 6 + years of experience managing projects as a billable consultant
  • Strong experience with virtual and collaboration web tools
  • Desktop application skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Teams) with ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly as new application skills are required for the position
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Team player and a strong relationship builder
  • Ability to conduct business in a virtual environment, working with multiple virtual teams across multiple time zones
  • History of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously, requiring minimal oversight
  • Organized with effective skills in problem solving, decision making, and written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Contributes to strategic planning by identifying project opportunities and aligning project goals with organizational objectives
  • Responsible for establishing project plans and schedules
  • Facilitates the development of project deliverables with cross-functional teams
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • High level oversight of multiple projects managed within a customer portfolio
  • Establishes and maintains necessary resource commitments to ensure successful project completion
  • Proactively monitors and reviews project accomplishments and results against plans
  • Adjusts strategy and plans based on project progress, scoping changes, and identified risks
  • Executes appropriate risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks with contingency planning to ensure business priorities and quality standards are met
  • Communicates effectively with clients, senior leadership, and other stakeholders (internal and external), managing expectations and addressing concerns
  • Identifies and resolves project-related issues, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Actively manages cross-functional teams as needed
  • Leads and motivates project teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of LMS or LCMS platforms, and preferably the integration of learning content with LMS platforms
  • Knowledge of talent transformation, Learning & Development, organizational learning, and/or change management
  • PMP certification or equivalent a plus
