Senior Python Fullstack Developer

Summary

Join Encora's Activate team as a Full-Stack Engineer to build scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions integrating LLM-powered capabilities into our platform. Collaborate with product and AI teams to design and deploy cutting-edge AI-driven features. You will design, develop, and maintain applications using PostgreSQL, Python, TypeScript, and React, while optimizing backend and frontend systems for performance, scalability, and security. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate ideas into impactful features. Maintain a strong focus on security, data integrity, and system reliability. This is a full-time, work-from-home position requiring 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using PostgreSQL, Python, TypeScript, and React
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to incorporate LLM-powered features into our platform
• Optimize backend and frontend systems for performance, scalability, and security
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to turn ideas into high-impact features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in architecture discussions and best practices to drive technical excellence
• Maintain a strong focus on security, data integrity, and system reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or interest in AI, NLP, or working with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain)
• Familiarity with Golang is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerization
