Summary

Join Halo, an international interactive media agency, as a Test Automation + Manual Engineer. You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software. Responsibilities include defining test cases, creating and executing test scripts, troubleshooting issues, and elaborating reports on defects. You will work in an agile environment with a multicultural team, participating in the full software development lifecycle. This fully remote position offers payments in USD and the opportunity to work with an international team and clients.

Requirements

  • Solid Expertise in manual and automation testing
  • Work experience in manual testing for web-based and hybrid applications
  • Test automation skills in WebDriverIO, Cypress, Typescript, ES Lint, Mongo DB, experience in both manual testing and UI test automation. Good communication skills
  • Good understanding of the improvement process for Manual Testing (Smoke, Regression, QA SignOff, GO / NO GO, End-to-End, User Acceptance Testing)
  • Solid comprehension of Agile methodologies
  • Previous experience in designing and executing test cases, analysis of requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Analytical mindset to identify test scenarios for both Front-end and Back-end
  • Collaborate on the Software Development Life Cycle, analyzing test results, errors, and bugs
  • Ability to write automated tests for individual APIS
  • Ability to write E2E integration tests for these APIs which would mimic a user journey (e.g. login -> create client -> upload census file -> create policy -> submit quote for client)
  • Ability to configure reports for the above
  • Ability to run/configure/troubleshoot relevant github workflows

Responsibilities

  • Define tests cases
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Identify test scenarios and implement automated tests to verify functional and non-functional requirements
  • Execute automated test scripts and monitor test runs to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Maintain and update existing automated test suites to accommodate changes in software functionality and requirements
  • Participate in the full life-cycle of software development from requirements through implementation
  • Elaborate reports on the effectiveness and defects to the production team
  • Join forces with Test Automation Engineers, Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, Technical Leaders, and Software Developers
  • Work in an agile environment with a multicultural team
  • Understand test strategies and assess risks
