Summary

Join Axonius, a fast-growing cybersecurity company, as a Manual QA Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our customer-facing features. You will lead manual QA processes, collaborate with engineering and product teams, support developers in test planning, review tests, report status, and organize cross-team testing efforts. Your responsibilities will include performing stress, load, and longevity tests, conducting exploratory testing, investigating and analyzing defects, and working closely with backend services. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a manual QA engineer
  • Experience in Client / Server products
  • Proficient in working with SaaS applications
  • Interest in data and cybersecurity
  • Analytical skills and sharp mind
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and a fast learner
  • High proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

  • Lead manual QA processes and efforts as part of the release process for customers’ facing features
  • Work closely with multiple engineering and product teams (same teams, but more than one team)
  • Support developers to determine test plans for complex features and deliveries
  • Review and validate tests written by developers and other QA members
  • Report status to QA and Dev management regularly
  • Organize and coordinate cross-team testing efforts for features/releases/special versions
  • Perform stress, load and longevity tests for different parts of the system (UI and backend scenarios) to reveal severe issues before they are meeting our customers in production
  • Perform manual exploratory testing
  • Investigate and analyze complex defects in user workflows to identify the problem’s root cause and provide reproduction steps
  • Use troubleshooting and diagnosis tools to identify functional defects
  • Review and reproduce customer defects
  • Work closely with the backend services (e.g. DB, MQ, jobs scheduler)

Preferred Qualifications

Basic familiarity with access to DB (read, write, run queries, import/export) - advantage
