Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Test Automation (design, develop and maintain scripts) and worked in Agile development model
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Playwright framework with Java
  • Must have strong programming skills in Java (5+ years)
  • Team leading experience and ability to conduct test strategy sessions through requirements with Automation QAs
  • Ability to share knowledge and experience with QA to improve quality of the code and reduce development time
  • CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience working in an agile software development team using Scrum methodologies and Jira Software
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Playwright (3 Years)

  • Onsite & Offshore team lead experience
  • API Testing (RestAssure, Jmeter)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright UI automation framework
  • Lead the UI Automation QA team to improve existing test automation coverage across functional, regression, performance, and security testing
  • Optimize existing Playwright-based automation scripts for performance and maintainability and ensure test scripts are robust, reusable, and modular
  • Monitor and maintain test execution in CI/CD environments
  • Automate test result reporting and research and recommend improvements on Automation frameworks
  • Analyze, fix and reduce flaky tests using proper wait strategies, retry mechanisms, and error handling. Maintain flakiness tracking dashboards and logs
  • Set up and manage test environments to ensure consistent execution
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to improve automation
  • Participate in code reviews and best practice discussions. Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for product and process related activities
  • Work with remote teams to manage projects and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Coach and mentor other team members and Quality Engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus
