Senior QA Engineer - Performance

Summary

Join our leading trading platform as a Senior QA Engineer specializing in Performance and contribute to our global expansion. Build and enhance our performance testing processes, selecting and implementing appropriate tools. Integrate performance tests into our CI/CD pipeline, establishing automated test runs and clear standards. This role requires 5+ years of QA experience, including at least 2 years in performance testing, along with expertise in performance testing tools and CI/CD integration. A strong understanding of web application and microservices architecture is essential. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA, including at least 2 years focused on performance testing
• Experience in building or improving performance testing processes
• Strong knowledge of one or more performance testing tools
• Experience adding performance tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of web application and microservices architecture
• Ability to work with performance metrics and monitoring systems

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the performance testing process
• Define the right testing strategy: what types of tests to use, whether that’s load, stress, long-term….and at which level
• Choose and implement tools for performance testing
• Create reusable test scripts and templates based on the product architecture
• Integrate into engineering workflows
• Add performance tests into the existing CI/CD pipeline
• Set up automatic test runs and define clear standards for how and when to run test
• Data collection and analysis
• Set up systems to monitor application performance
• Collect, visualise, and analyse key performance metrics
• Prepare clear reports with suggestions for improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the fintech industry
• Knowledge of APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools
• Worked on high-load systems
• Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB in Performance Testing)
