Summary

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, including test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Experience ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions while maintaining high standards for software testing processes
  • Experience working closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to support the deployment and optimization of ServiceNow applications
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Proficiency with manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document technical information clearly

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ServiceNow applications, including functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand business and technical requirements for testing
  • Perform manual and automated testing of ServiceNow workflows, modules, and integrations to ensure proper functionality and user experience
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and collaborate with development teams for resolution
  • Create and maintain detailed testing documentation, including reports, logs, and metrics
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for process improvement
  • Validate system enhancements and upgrades to maintain compliance with defined standards
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating scripts and coordinating with end-users
  • Ensure testing activities comply with the Department of State’s security and operational standards
