Senior React Native Engineer

Summary

Join AUTO1 Group's mobile team as a Senior or Expert React Native Engineer to build the next generation of the Autohero mobile app. You will work on a modern codebase, influence technical decisions, and shape user experience for thousands of customers. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers. Own core parts of the app architecture, ensuring performance and maintainability. Improve app speed, reliability, and UX. Participate in code reviews and mentor fellow engineers. Drive technical decisions and improve team workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• 3+ years of production experience with React Native
• Solid understanding of mobile development best practices : navigation, animations, performance
• Experience with state management (e.g. Redux, Zustand) and server state handling with React Query
• Familiarity with debugging tools, testing (unit/integration), and mobile release processes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features in our React Native app for iOS and Android
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver user value
• Own core parts of the app architecture , ensuring long-term performance and maintainability
• Improve app speed, reliability, and UX through best practices and performance tuning
• Participate in code reviews , architecture discussions, and mentor fellow engineers
• Drive technical decisions and help improve team workflows and mobile engineering culture

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with native modules, CI/CD , and app store deployment
