Summary

Join Method, a global design and engineering consultancy, as a Senior React Native Engineer. You will be part of a team building business-critical mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and other technologies. The role requires extensive experience in React Native development, testing, and agile methodologies. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and status updates. Travel is required up to 15%. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working on large development projects using React Native and related tools
  • 3+ years of experience using Typescript
  • 3+ years of experience building robust unit tests and component tests using tools like Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
  • 5+ years of experience developing in an Agile project management environment
  • Strong understanding of component lifecycles and hooks in React 17+
  • Understanding of State Management tools like Redux, Context, and RTK Query, and the different uses/purposes of each
  • Experience working within a codebase that utilizes code quality enforcement tools like ESLint, Prettier, and Sonarqube
  • Get equally excited about scalable UI and API design
  • 3+ years experience building applications that interface with REST APIs
  • Understanding of scalable UI development patterns
  • Understanding of scalable API development patterns
  • Experience building and deploying with cloud-hosted CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience building QA test automation using modern E2E Test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, etc
  • Experience in building scalable and maintainable application architectures
  • Experience in leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Work well with others, enjoy collaborating with and mentoring others, unafraid to reach out to others for support
  • Love learning and growing as much as delivering high quality products and features

Responsibilities

  • Build business-critical applications with a high-performing, cross-functional team
  • Partake in and lead communication with project stakeholders
  • Explain technical constraints to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work on a wide variety of projects that range from Bluetooth integration with hardware to experimental system mobile applications
  • Give thorough status updates, grooming agile stories, and estimating work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in scaled mobile architectures like Monorepos, and utilizing shared internal libraries
  • Experience building and maintaining application analytics
  • Experience building Authentication and protected applications
  • Experience utilizing tools to support monitoring, logging, and securing applications

  • Salary range for Colorado: $120,000 to $130,000 annually
  • Salary range for New York City: $120,000 to $130,000
