Summary

Join GoDaddy's Risk team as a remote professional in India, contributing to a new-generation risk strategy for a global eCommerce platform. You will analyze fraudulent activities, develop and optimize risk rulesets, build reporting packages, and troubleshoot production issues. Requirements

  • A Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in mathematics, informatics, physics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, including proficiency with regular expressions, report creation, financial modeling, and automation using R, JSON, Python, SQL, Tableau, and QuickSight
  • Hands-on experience with fraud and risk mitigation, including fraud/anomaly detection, ruleset creation, and large data set analysis, with a solid understanding of statistical calculations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with collaborators and lead large-scale projects from start to finish

Responsibilities

  • Analyze patterns of compromise, abuse, and other fraudulent activities to develop counteractions
  • Develop and optimize rulesets for various existing and new risk areas, improving risk mitigation efforts
  • Build and refine reporting packages, identifying automation opportunities for analyzing risk rule performance
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues involving code, data, models, experiment design, and measurement
  • Present innovative ideas and solutions, ensuring minimal impact on genuine customers within our high-speed and reliable Risk Platform
  • Collaborate within a scrum team and engage with collaborators, product managers, ML/AI scientists, and operations teams across and beyond the eCommerce group

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience in both fraud detection and payment-related fields
