Senior RoR Developer

Summary

Join Gett's Billing team, a group of 7 engineers responsible for building and scaling critical billing systems for B2B, B2C, drivers, and fleets. You'll design, build, and scale these systems, working closely with architects and owning the full development lifecycle. You'll contribute to a high-performance, stable, and scalable infrastructure using Ruby on Rails and Go.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB)
• Proven experience building SaaS or microservices-based systems
• Skilled in writing clean, testable RESTful APIs
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/others)
• Performance tuning and optimization for high-load environments

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development from design to production
• Built robust, scalable backend solutions with RoR and Go
• Ensure system reliability in production with a dedicated support team
• Improve code quality, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate with architects and DevOps on system architecture and deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing in Golang
• Experience in optimizing performance in relational databases
• Experience with gRPC/protobuf
• Experience solving high-load problems
• Experience with concurrent applications
