Summary

Join LLInformatics, a leading IT consulting firm, as a Ruby on Rails Developer. Work remotely or in our Warsaw office on challenging projects for clients across Europe and North America. Implement new functionalities, build applications from scratch, and solve complex programming challenges. Collaborate with colleagues through code reviews and maintain existing code. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with Active Record and Rspec
  • Experience working on a production application in AWS or Heroku
  • Experience working with RDBMS like PostgreSQL
  • Experience with writing tests/TDD or a culture of testing your code
  • Experience in building server-side apps, using the MVC pattern, or something similar
  • Solid understanding of how web applications work
  • Understanding distributed systems and resilient applications
  • Having practical knowledge of how to communicate with REST API
  • Polish and English at a B2+ minimum level
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Responsibilities

  • Implementing new functionalities on our client’s platform
  • Working on a project from scratch
  • Solving complex programming challenges while improving your knowledge
  • Doing regular code reviews/PR reviews for your colleagues
  • Maintaining existing code and bug-fixing
  • Writing unit, integration, and E2E tests

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a tech team lead is a strong plus
