This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of experience, strong coding skills, and experience with agile development methodologies, cloud computing platforms, database technologies, and version control systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of related work experience
• Thorough understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles
• Extensive knowledge of coding languages and systems
• Skilled at developing front-end UX using CSS3, HTML5, and Bootstrap while delivering content from MSSQL via Ruby on Rails
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS
• Experience with database technologies, such as SQL or NoSQL
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software applications and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Test software through unit tests, integration tests and debugging tools
• Perform code reviews and ensure the highest code quality standards are met
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software development
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other engineers
• Contribute to the development of technical specifications and project plans
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Cold Fusion to help support enhancement/bug backlog would be a great plus
