Requirements

• You're a professional with 5+ years of software development experience
• Strongly proficient in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• You understand how to test your code
• You have a grasp of SQL and relational databases
• You know principles of building maintainable and scalable solutions
• You have experience of using and building REST APIs with JSON
• Writing readable, testable and reliable code is a priority for you
• You're not biased toward a specific technology and are more interested in finding the right tools and patterns for the job
• You have good interpersonal skills, and are able to collaborate and communicate in person or via Slack or email efficiently

Responsibilities

• Build reliable, scalable features/integrations with a focus on security, testability and extensibility
• Collaborate with our product and design teams to define feature specifications and timelines
• Engage in technical discussions to design new solutions and architecture
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code standards
• Support an open, positive, and energized culture
• Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement
• Ensure that technical decisions support our goals around quality, high performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security
