Join Pantheon as a Senior Sales Engineer and become a key player in the modern web development landscape. Partner with Account Executives to drive revenue by showcasing Pantheon's platform value. Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or customer-facing technical role, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software
- Strong technical acumen and familiarity with modern web infrastructure, architecture, and development workflows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Proven experience advising on solution fit, technical requirements, and best practices across customer segments

Responsibilities
- Lead technical sales engagements from discovery to close, partnering closely with Account Executives
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and tailored technical presentations that showcase Pantheon’s business value and platform strengths
- Own the technical win: understand a prospect’s technical challenges and business objectives, align them with Pantheon’s capabilities, and remove barriers to adoption
- Guide prospects through the procurement process, including completing RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
- Provide best practice recommendations and strategic guidance to prospects and customers
- Act as a subject matter expert in one or more product or technical domains
- Collaborate cross-functionally to inform GTM strategy and share feedback with Product and Engineering teams
- Mentor and coach Sales Engineers, enabling their growth through onboarding, ongoing enablement, and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to internal documentation, training programs, and initiatives that scale the Sales Engineering team
- Engage in community-building activities, contributing to thought leadership in the field

- Demonstrated expertise in WordPress, next.js, and Drupal, with a strong understanding of headless CMS architecture
